IT Application Manager (m/w/d)

You will develop modern software solutions and digital applications to optimize business processes and support our company’s digital transformation.

You will design, program, and implement applications in the Microsoft environment and oversee projects through to production deployment.

You will develop and maintain interfaces between enterprise systems and ensure a reliable exchange of information.

You’ll work closely with all of our departments—such as Production, R&D, and QA—to implement practical digital solutions.

You’ll analyze existing processes, identify opportunities for automation and digitization, and drive continuous improvement.

You’ll evaluate and integrate modern technologies—particularly AI-based solutions—and support the implementation and further development of digital systems.

You have successfully completed a degree or vocational training program in computer science, business informatics, software engineering, or a comparable field.

You have experience in software development using technologies such as C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, or comparable frameworks, as well as with databases, APIs, and modern software architectures.

You have knowledge of modern development and deployment environments such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher, and ideally experience with the Microsoft Azure environment.

You are familiar with REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, messaging systems, and modern integration and architecture concepts.

You are interested in AI technologies and, ideally, have already gained experience with Azure AI Services, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms.

You work analytically, are solution-oriented, and take initiative; you communicate confidently in German and English and value on-site collaboration in an international environment.
